About the event

Pregnancy and postpartum can bring significant emotional and mental health changes, and it isn’t always easy to know what’s “normal” and when additional support may be helpful. In this talk, we’ll discuss common mental health challenges that can arise during pregnancy and after birth, what they may look and feel like, and signs that it may be time to reach out to a professional. We’ll also briefly explore treatment and support options, including therapy, lifestyle approaches, and medications, with the goal of helping moms feel more informed and empowered to care for their mental health throughout the perinatal period.
