About the event

Join Kristin Trick, a licensed mental health and play therapist, to learn tips for managing stress while she shows you how to cook a simple and nutritious recipe. She will start the hour with tips on how to keep your cool with your 0-3 year-old, then model how you can use those skills in the kitchen. She’ll demonstrate how to cook a basic recipe that will keep you and your family well nourished.

Short Bio of the Host

Kristin Trick, MA, LCMHCS, LPC-S, RPT-S™ is a licensed mental health therapist with 12 years of experience working with children and their parents. She is a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S™), who has studied and practiced how to best connect with children, help them manage emotions, and control behaviors. She served as a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT) for 3 years, helping parents build healthy relationships with their children. Kristin is the owner of Grounded Counseling & Services, PLLC, which provides Counseling, Supervision, and Parent Coaching. She is a proud mom to 5-year-old Brie with another daughter on the way.
