About the event

For babies born between October 2026 and January 2027

A small-group program that provides guidance, connection, and support during the postpartum period — combining expert insight with a strong sense of community for new moms.

Postpartum Pods are limited to 10 mom/baby pairs and are facilitated by an experienced Postpartum Doula and different subject matter experts.

Postpartum Pods create an intimate cohort of mothers with same-age babies. You’ll get specific guidance around developmental milestones, regulating your baby’s sleep routine, breast and bottle feeding, separation anxiety, maternal identity, and so much more! The most valuable benefit of our Postpartum Pods may simply be being seen by others going through this exciting but at times overwhelming phase of life and developing strong bonds with other moms... But you’ll also learn how to mindfully navigate the first few months of your child’s life, as well as gain resources to help you and your little one develop ongoing confidence and joy.

You will also be able to join our Pod-only WhatsApp group. Within this group, you’ll connect with the other pod participants and our Postpartum doula, receiving ongoing advice and unwavering support throughout the pod’s duration. Even after your pod concludes, this platform remains accessible, fostering ongoing connections with fellow moms.

Meeting dates:

Every Monday for 6 weeks: January 25, February 1, 8, 22, and March 1 & 8.

Your Pod will be Led by

Sydaiya Oladimeji - Certified Postpartum Doula | Newborn Care Specialist | Sleep Conditioning Educator

Syd has 16 years of hands-on experience supporting families through the newborn stage. She has cared for over 100 babies across a wide range of family dynamics and cultural settings, both in the United States and internationally.

Her work focuses on helping mothers create a more stable, predictable, and supported start to early motherhood through a combination of postpartum support, newborn care, and newborn sleep conditioning from birth. Her approach blends evidence-based practices, preventative care, and practical education to support both infant development and maternal wellbeing.

Sydaiya is the creator of The Newborn Sleep Method, a proactive approach to newborn sleep support that helps families establish healthy sleep habits from the very beginning. She specializes in helping parents understand how daily rhythms, environment, and caregiving choices in the earliest weeks influence sleep, regulation, and the overall newborn experience.

Her experience spans both domestic and international settings. In 2022, she served as a Newborn Care Trainer for one of Dubai's leading childcare agencies, where she trained and mentored professional caregivers in newborn care practices while also providing education and support to families.

Through her work, Sydaiya aims to bridge the gap many families experience between birth and real-life adjustment at home, helping mothers move out of overwhelm and into a more grounded, confident, and supported start.

Your Other Experts Are

Melissa Bradley - Pediatric Occupational Therapist &  Certified Lactation Counselor

Melissa is the founder of Mama & Babe, an in-home practice that integrates occupational therapy and lactation support to help Charlotte-area families navigate breastfeeding, infant development, and the transition to motherhood.

Drawing on a whole-body occupational therapy perspective, Melissa looks beyond feeding mechanics to address the many factors that influence successful feeding and early development, including oral-motor function, sensory processing, positioning, routines, regulation, maternal wellness, preventative care, and the mother-baby relationship.

Whether welcoming your first baby or growing your family, Melissa supports mothers through every stage of the postpartum journey. In addition to helping families navigate breastfeeding and feeding challenges, she offers a unique prenatal support option that allows expectant parents to establish care before their baby arrives. By building a relationship during pregnancy, families have a trusted professional already in place—someone waiting in the wings to provide personalized guidance and in-home support from the moment they return home with their newborn. Instead of searching for help when concerns arise, parents can begin this new chapter with confidence, knowing expert, individualized care is only a phone call away.
