About the event
For babies born between June and September 2026.
A small-group program that provides guidance, connection, and support during the postpartum period — combining expert insight with a strong sense of community for new moms.
Postpartum Pods are limited to 10 mom/baby pairs and are facilitated by an experienced Postpartum Doula and different subject matter experts.
Postpartum Pods create an intimate cohort of mothers with same-age babies. You’ll get specific guidance around developmental milestones, regulating your baby’s sleep routine, breast and bottle feeding, separation anxiety, maternal identity, and so much more! The most valuable benefit of our Postpartum Pods may simply be being seen by others going through this exciting but at times overwhelming phase of life and developing strong bonds with other moms... But you’ll also learn how to mindfully navigate the first few months of your child’s life, as well as gain resources to help you and your little one develop ongoing confidence and joy.
You will also be able to join our Pod-only WhatsApp group. Within this group, you’ll connect with the other pod participants and our Postpartum doula, receiving ongoing advice and unwavering support throughout the pod’s duration. Even after your pod concludes, this platform remains accessible, fostering ongoing connections with fellow moms.
Meeting dates:
Every Friday for 6 weeks: September 25th, October 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30
Your Pod will be led by:

Tesia Wyatt - Lactation Counselor

Tesia is a wife, mother of three boys, and proud dog mom to a very handsome German Shepherd. Her own birth experiences—including one hospital Medicaid birth and two unmedicated home births—shaped her passion for supporting families. During her home births, the guidance and encouragement of her doula became an invaluable part of her journey, inspiring her to provide that same level of care to others.
With a background in elementary education, she spent 12 years as a professional nanny, providing child and newborn care to growing families. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for helping mothers navigate the transition into parenthood and the unique challenges of the fourth trimester.
Her dedication to maternal and infant health led her to become a La Leche League Leader, where she began supporting mothers on their breastfeeding journeys. In 2023, she became a Lactation Counselor with WIC, further expanding her ability to provide evidence-based breastfeeding support. She continued pursuing her passion by beginning midwifery school in March 2024. The following month, she completed birth assistant training and began supporting families in hospital, birth center, and home birth settings.
After six years of counseling mothers through breastfeeding, she earned her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential in 2025, recognizing the expertise she had developed through years of hands-on clinical experience, education, and compassionate support. Today, she is committed to empowering families with evidence-based information, personalized care, and unwavering encouragement throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond.
